Probably the best place to do a medically supervised water only fast is at the True North Health Center in Santa Rosa CA. Dr. Alan Goldhamer is the founder of the Center, which has been in operation I think for over 30 years. His new book is coming out this week: "Can Fasting Save Your Life." They have done extensive research at the Center over all those years and have published their findings in many peer reviews journals, such as the British Medical Journal.
I live near Berkeley, and I think I’ll check on the Center. I’ve recently become a vegan, eating breakfast and an early dinner. Some seeds and nuts between meals and a blueberry smoothie. I’ve lost a few pounds and I’m at the gym 5 times a week.
Congrats on going Vegan. I have been Vegan for 32 years. Probably the best decision I ever made. I will be 76 y.o. next month. I don't take any medications or have any major health problems. It is also the best thing for the Planet and The Animals!!!
I want to know how to count my calories daily. Can you give me some pointers? I have an Apple phone, it’s ninth generation I do not have an Apple Watch.
