Thom. Being 'born' empathic is still befuddling after 77 years. Out of step, either a step ahead or a step behind, contemplation does take time, even in the QF/QE world. When experiencing any phenomenon brings tears or rage or sadness, the challenge is to stay/find/feel some harmonic that sustains me. Lucid dreaming, as you often point to, is a constant, as long as I do not pursue it for experience. Never had to, except when those speed pressures you describe weigh me down. I often contemplate what is called 'phasing,' the ripple effect of entangled quantum energies. Speed without movement; connection without place; substance without form, out of many, one. A man I know well, a TM guy for decades, calls it lightness. Being a jack Buddhist, I often note the impermanence of 'things' as they swirl around me, yet am so anchored by that shadow I see fleeing in the distance. These times we feel we are in are just the same time as many before, but phasing has consequences in any trough or crest, and for we impermanent beings with the confusion about memory/history, we simply are not ready to handle what we cannot envision. Many say we cannot kill this planet. Mars is a planet. Any version of me/it/us/all does not want to experience being there. I like the 66 million years it took to bet here because it is in my QE genes, and my proteins do not favor something as stupid as suicide via ignorance.
