May I say brilliant, and that wisdom may come with age, or not at all. Three years ago I read your 1922 book “ADHD: A Hunter in a Farmer’s World “. It gave me peace and some needed self awareness and forgiveness. Though at age 80 I think I’ve lost the hyperactivity component, I reflect on my pediatrician’s hand written notes: “Jamie can’t sit still. He knows no moderation.”
I’ve passed your article on to my family and contact list. You’ve kept it non political, but I see it so relevant to the three different views, likes and dislikes, of last nights STOU address: Trump’s version, State of the Swamp with Miles Taylor and Defiance.org, and the Peoples state of the Union by The Midas Touch Network MTN (Substack, etc, and Move on.org, hosted by Joy Reid and Katie Phang on the Capital lawn.
Thom, please don’t burn out! Your writing is so much needed in our fight for continued democracy - esp The Hartmann Report and Wisdom School.🤠
Thank you Thom. Insightful, engaging as always.
